Our aim is to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research and fund the fight to find a cure. On 29th July 2023, my brother-in-law, Gavin, had a seizure on a Greek beach and was subsequently diagnosed with a Glioblastoma (GBM), a fast growing brain tumour. Whilst he receives amazing medical support from the team at Addenbrooks hospital, we had been left with a feeling of powerlessness!

To overcome our powerlessness we are committed to raising money to support the incredible research funded by Brain Tumour Research; the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning and research. So far, we have been involved in fundraising events that have funded 25 days research. However, there is always more we can do!

Please join the Brains4Brains team! Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began.

Look and ask around, if won't take you long to find an individual, couple or family that have been impacted by brain tumours. If we work together, we can make a difference so that in the future, families like mine, can have more hope when receiving a brain tumour diagnosis.
